This colorful, Bedouin-made cross-stich shawl features an alternating floral and eye pattern, complete with tassels, on an inky-black fabric. Cross stitch has a long history in Egypt, with archeological finds dating back nearly 1,500 years. Today, Bedouin communities continue this traditional type of embroidery.

Triangular in shape, this scarf measures approximately 7'x4.5', plus tassels.
