This pillowcase is done in the style of traditional Egyptian handicraft called khayyamiya, which features hand-stitched appliqué fabric designs. Khayyamiya is a traditional Egyptian craft originally used to decorate tents, and today these pieces are predominantly handmade in Cairo.

This pillowcase has a green edging with an intricate white patterned design forming a beautifully symmetrical layout. The back is plain white with a green border.
